Motorcycle test ride program

By offering visitors the opportunity to test-ride the latest motorcycle models and compare them with the motorcycles visitors normally ride, this program seeks to arouse interest in motorcycles and scooters and the desire to purchase them.
A special outdoor course will be set up outside the south side of the West Hall (within Makuhari Messe grounds), with both straight and slalom runs available. There will also be a time zone set aside for beginners and women (considerations will be made for speed and course settings).
Participation will be on a first come basis using tickets distributed by category on the same day. 26 vehicles from six different companies are scheduled to be available.

Dates:
Saturday, October 31 through Wednesday, November 4, 2009 (5 days)
Times:
11:00 to 17:00 (canceled in case of rain or bad weather)
Location:
Outside south side of West Hall
Course:
Specially-laid course within Makuhari Messe grounds Under instructor supervision, participants will be able to make 2 runs of a 200m straight course and 2 runs of a 100m slalom course (as currently planned)
Tickets:
Distributed on a first come basis starting from 10am the same day
Participating companies:
6 (Suzuki, Honda, Yamaha, Adiva, Kymco, and Harley-Davidson) *See attached list of 26 scheduled vehicles
Eligibility:
General visitors. Must bring valid driver's license to be eligible for the motorcycles visitors wish to test-ride.

Electricity-assisted bicycle Test Ride Program

A test ride program for electricity-assisted bicycles will be held on a special course located outside the south side of the West Hall, adjacent to the motorcycle test ride area. Participation will be on a first come basis in order to allow a greater number of visitors to take part. The electricity-assisted bicycle test ride program will be held with assistance by Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd.
