Tentatively named “Eco-tire Institute” as a whole, the booth offers easy-to-understand explanation about the fuel-saving technology that has been developed by Yokohama Rubber since 1998, through the use of various experiments and body sensory demonstration to give visitors a realistic feeling of the impact of the difference in rolling resistance on fuel efficiency.. Also, the lineup of DNA, Japan’s first eco-tire series, and ZEN, eco-tires for trucks and buses will be shown to emphasize our records of the environmental contribution by these products. In addition, an explanation will be given about the fact of air leakage from tires by focusing on the control of air pressure, which is important for full functioning of the eco-tires. In order to highlight ' the Special material for restricting air leakage (tentative name)', tools for the explanation of functions and air leakage restriction will be exhibited. Regarding our technological approach to air leakage, we plan to show an explanatory panel called “Toward zero air leakage”.

“What a tiny fire extinguisher it is!” Please touch and feel our “Shobo RESCUE” which is the world’s first portable CO2 fire extinguisher with three functions designed for vehicle use, in our booth, there are a driver seat and a door. So, a visitor can experience to take out “Shobo RESCUE” from the door pocket and cut out a seat belt. Our special future is we demonstrate to blow CO2 extinguishing agents to a computer and a monitor which are powering on, assuming to blow them to electrical motor of H.V and E.V. A visitor learns that CO2 extinguishing agents are not only insulation but also clean extinguishing agents which are not necessary to clean up later. We also introduce the story of “Shobo RESCUE” from how to start the project to how to develop the process.
